The Internet has rapidly become a powerful educational tool and teachers must be able to harness the capabilities of the Internet to enhance teaching. There are many facets to using the Internet in the classroom. This assignment will require you to develop a library of resources that you can use when you become a teacher or during your intern. You are expected to make 2-3 posts each week. By the end of the semester, you should have at least 30 entries in your library. This will be easy if you make the posts as you read. To accomplish this, you will use a tool called Delicious . Delicious is a social bookmarking tool that allows you to create a database of resources. The advantages to using a social bookmarking tool are: the ability to create a collection of resources that can be used in the classroom, the ability to create a network of teachers sharing resources, and your digital library will accessible on any computer with an Internet connection.
